AI, Ethics, and Academic Integrity: What Graduate Students Need to Know Online
Generative AI can be useful in graduate study, but it also raises important questions about honesty, transparency, responsibility, and trust. This workshop helps College of IS&T graduate students think about when AI use is appropriate, when it creates risk, and how to make informed decisions in coursework and research.
Students will learn how to:

Identify responsible and problematic uses of AI.

Recognize common ethical concerns, including bias, privacy, and misinformation.

Think about disclosure, attribution, and academic integrity.

Evaluate AI outputs critically.
Best for: All graduate students, especially those using AI for reading, writing, coding, or research support.
